Hidden Safari

 

Description: This project is the "Hidden Animals Safari. For this project, there were quite a few steps. The first step was to choose an animal to draw to be "hidden". We drew the animal with a light blue pencil and upside down to focus on the lines rather than the shape of the animal. Then we chose warm colors to make patterns to cover the animal we previously drew. The next step is to make the glasses that are special and allow you to see the animal-drawn. We wrote three clues as to what animal we drew at the bottom of the project.

Extension: An extension activity for this art project would be to have students research the animal they chose to draw on the paper. After researching the student would create an informational PowerPoint to share with their classmates and teacher.
